The draftnicks were pretty clear that the '22 QB class was ass.
They were actually right.

Didn't MM report this like 6 months ago.Seems like KP was a big baby about Wilson (per Dulac). Highly disappointing

Holy sh*t... just like that, KP's days of being a franchise QB anywhere are over.
And of course he was a baby about Wilson. He was a baby about Rudolph from the sounds of it too.

Oh for sure. They were just inserted into the role and we all could tell something was off. The new boss was a nepo-baby that was part of the good’ol boys club of the company. That interaction was in my first 1 on 1 that he was having with each person in the department after taking over. He was sent there with marching orders and executed them.**** brutalHad a boss tell me this once before laying off 1/3 of the department a week later.Tomlin will say something about wanting volunteers, not hostages etc.

I would be mad too if the team told me "you're going to be competing, but you're our guy" only to bring Russ in and say "no comp, he's our guy now".

I’d be pissed but I would work hard and use it as chip on my shoulder. If he’s out there acting like a diva, then I can’t defend him. And this is coming from a big time defender of himSeems like KP was a big baby about Wilson (per Dulac). Highly disappointing

eh...it sounds like he conceded more than anything. There were more reports that said the steelers were strict in their conversations with Wilson.
It ultimately sounds like more people on the team didnt buy what Kenny was selling anyways...

I was a huge Kenny guy at Pitt, but his body of work in the NFL is his body of work...and it's not good at all. Yes the OC was part of that, but you can't wait around for what if's in this league...especially when you have the defense the Steelers do.
Why would they wait an extra year to see if Kenny has it when they can roll with a QB that has shown he can win big games. Now the wilson thing could backfire, but they are paying him next to nothing and he has a proven NFL track record and with the defense the Steelers have is going to do more for them then Kenny ever would IMO.

Watching Pickett and Trubisky play QB last year was the most aggravating chore we all volunteered to do. Those scrubs were such absolute dogshit that they made us watch Rudolph and think he was some sort of miracle worker. Rudolph basically just executed the position, and we were just in awe watching the steelers score points for two games and not just go three and out over and over again.Seems like KP was a big baby about Wilson (per Dulac). Highly disappointing

Still legit shocked that they gave up on his so quickly and easily.

I mean...i am not. it seems they are culture changing hard. Diontae and Kenny were gone quickly. Seems the team is not in the mood to deal with disgruntlement much.
Meanwhile, Pat Pete like, "please can i comeback and be friends with yall?"

Yea it's not a good look for him. Bad QB draft class. Omar obviously thinks very little of Colbert's picks in the last two drafts. I still think the ability is there to be a starting QB in the NFL or at the very least a capable and reliable backup; first two years were rough and the Steelers didn't have the pieces in place to develop a capable QB, but you can't suck and be a diva. He 100% lost the locker room and it's better for all parties to just move on with their lives.
