Love on the Spectrum is pretty great. I think I saw there was a new season recently. We all want that, but not all of us will predict that based off his tone in an interview. My wife and I just watched Love on the Spectrum and those are some of the most emphatic and excited interviews I've ever seen (one guy even made sure his eyebrows were in the right place), but I bet they're horrible offensive coordinators.Yea, heaven forbid I want to watch an exciting offense that can win a game, rather than play just well enough to have the defense try to win it.This is a good hire. You're attitude towards the hire is a good indicator on where your jaded level is currently at.
Interesting thing I did hear though. Smith was planning on bringing Munchak with him, but Tomlin nixed that. He apparently left on bad terms the first time.
he said he wanted an outside hire with previous OC experience, right? what did he not deliver on by his own criteria?
I just think this whole hiring, the process that Tomlin said wouldn't happen, etc. Happened
Yeah, guy that works in the industry. My understanding is that the Smith camp was letting insiders know it was a done deal that same day it was reported that he interviewed. Not sure the extent of initial Munchak piece, that maybe he had floated bringing him back, or he wanted him back. But that Tomlin and Munchak were not getting along at the end, and their relationship is the reason Munchak did that weird lateral move when he left Pittsburgh.is there a source for that? or just yinzer speculation
He also said he wanted to look at how other teams do it - implying that potentially the scenario he was offering would have had a different outcome.he said he wanted an outside hire with previous OC experience, right? what did he not deliver on by his own criteria?

Negatives -- Has some accuracy issues, makes his receivers adjust to the ball too frequently... A bit on the skinny side, could benefit bulking up 10-15 pounds... Has serious fumbling problems, fumbled 10 times in his career at Texas A&M;, had the smallest hands of any quarterback at the combine at nine inches...
nice findI have to assume that they think the can do for Pickett what he did for Tannehill. Tannehill scouting negatives lol:

He cured his arthritis. He deserves a shot.No.

The decision is whether they think the kid from Oregon provides enough value at 20.Would I overpay for 1 year of Kelce if that meant drafting a C in the first three rounds and having him watch/learn? Yes.
