Print some kind of croc attachment that snaps onto the bottom of the shoe. That way mac can wear them in the shower and smush the poo down easier.

Feeding my fish this morning, I realized that I could use some sort of tray for my automatic fish feeder for when we go on vacation. I have been taping it to the end of the tank forever, which is tacky as hell. Designed this, and am printing it now.

Can you put that on Crocs?

I stopped the print before it really began after seeing that it would take 10 hours to complete. That gave me more time to think on it, so I added some openings for velcro straps to keep the Eheim feeder secured.

I really need to pay better attention when I'm working in my slicer. I ended up accidentally printing my first version, where the dimensions were just slightly off, namely around the opening where the Eheim drum would spin. It fits, but the drum hits the walls and moves the feeder around. I got to thinking, that section just serves no purpose, so I redesigned it again to be a simpler design. I don't even think I'll need the screw, but I'll keep it anyway just in case.

Probably could have made the inner guard a little shorter, but this turned out well and is rock steady.

I needed a picture stand for the 3D soccer medallion I designed for my daughter (using her team's logo), so I printed one.

Printed out a relief map of downtown Pittsburgh. Gonna print a thin sheet of blue for the water next, and then the black frame this will all sit in. Should make for a nice little gift for my mom.

Finally got to really solve an issue with CAD and the 3D printer. My wife's razor continues to fall off the wall thanks to the suction cup, so I designed and printed one that hangs from the metal bars on her soap dish. Works perfectly.

Wife wanted me to buy a radon meter, so I needed some place to mount it in the basement near our electric panel, since I bought a wired unit. Our 4" PVC main sewage line runs across that wall, so I designed a hanger that will just hang from that. Probably won't print it until I have the device in hand to validate the measurements for the inlet and power cord. You can't tell, but the hanger is pitched a little over 3° so that it sits level on the pipe.

Check your center of gravity on the meter too when it arrives. Not sure how heavy we're talking, but it could mess with a good plan to keep it level.

Yep, thought of that. What you don’t see in the rendering is that I have two openings in the back of the bottom tray, and will be printing two rectangular pegs to keep the hanger level.

I give it another year before I go all in and upgrade to a Bambulabs printer. The thought of printing 5x faster with every bell and whistle available… I will not be able to resist.
