Nice run by Mediocre Davis, who managed to find a much better post-Super Panthers landing spot than Bad Davis. My only issue with MD was his usage more than his ability.

There are a lot of things to hate about college football but god damnit this fsu lsu matchup is a reminder why cfb is so much fun. Big plays, massive miscues, some idiocy but most of all very entertaining

That was an old fashioned beat down in the second half. Certainly won't endear Brian Kelly to the Cajun faithful

Every mistake Clemson made was super terrible. Two fumbles at the goal line. Two awful missed field goals

I think Clemson is better than they looked. Some really bad red zone possessions

Clemson put all the pieces together to make that a blowout. Miscues cost them, but its a loss that probably wont affect them much if they beat FSU here in a few weeks.

I think the game is passing Dabo by.

12 straight 10+-win seasons, but this loss to Duke is the end of the line for him.

I don't claim to know a lot about college football in terms of the status of a particular teams talent pool as it relates to the transfer portal and NIL considerations. But I do know that Dabo is a jagoff and I wouldn't play for him if I could play anywhere else. So, yeah, it's possible that the game is passing him by in that regard.

Per Clemson fans, since the joys of the transfer portal started they have managed to nab three transfers: Bear Bryant's great-grandson (sucks), a third string QB who was returning to Clemson after previously transferring elsewhere, and a walk-on transfer from Furman, which is like down the road from Clemson. The structure of college football has changed dramatically over the last couple years and Dabo has steadfastly refused to adapt his approach to things. 12 consecutive seasons with 10+ wins? Sure. But this was a program positioning themselves to be the Alabama of the ACC and after going 2-2 in National Championship games over a 5 year period they're 1-2 in Bowl Games, haven't sniffed the Playoffs in two years, and obviously have the Super Panthers coming for them. They're still a top ranked, competitive program but they're losing their spot at the top of the mountain.

Qb play has more to do with their absence from the cfp more than anything else

Yes, what DD said. They've definitely been trending down the last few years. The Xs and Os haven't passed him by, but he has shown an alarming inability to adapt to the modern game in other areas, especially recruiting. Saban, on the other hand, has always shown an ability to adapt despite his age.

Lack of participation in portal land has nothing to do with not giving your best player (Shipley) the ball on the goal line. Both fumbles were by other RBs when it should have been him handling it.

I guess he wants to...but I feel bad that they made Lee Corso into a ventriloquist puppet and trot him out there on Kirk's lap for a half hour a show...

Been watching this game. To Fox credit, they really haven't showed Prime much during the game.

Miami up on aTm in front of a half full (OK, let's say 2/3 full) stadium. I suppose there's other stuff to do in South Florida but you can't show up for a game vs a Top 25 opponent?

Also, interested to see if aTm sucks again this year. I have a bunch of Aggie friends and this becoming a trend would be pretty amusing.

Dukes hanging tough with the mountaineers so far. As a penn state fan, I’d love to see wvu do well the rest of the season, but I’d love seeing Duquesne win this more.
