Back in the year I worked at a country station (93-94), Toby Keith was huge. Not Garth or Alan Jackson huge, but huge. He was touring till a month ago.

Damn it. "Outlaw Country" is one of my favorite channels on SiriusXM, and its what taught me there is plenty of amazing country music (just not the pop country that's played on terrestrial radio). I can't count the number of days that I've listened to Mojo as the "loon in the afternoon" host.

I say this with the greatest love and respect: Mojo Nixon was a booger-eating moron. RIP.
