The last cast member of Gone With the Wind, Olivia de Havilland, goes out with the wind at 104.
The last remaining star of Hollywood's Golden Age. Crazy that her sister lived almost as long as she did.
From February......
It's crazy to think Olivia de Havilland, one of the four big stars of Gone with the Wind, is still alive. Ditto for Norman Lloyd (105) and Vera Lynn (102)

This is high praise coming from Letterman... He worshipped Carson and they were close friends.
As successful as Regis was, I think his comedic talent is vastly underappreciated.

Great, now you've cursed Letterman.
Man, I've gone down a rabbit hole of Philbin clips. He was such an entertaining storyteller on Letterman.
I never realized that Rickles co-hosted an episode of Live! with him in 1996. You can tell those two guys genuinely loved each other. Great stuff.

I've never heard anything bad about Scowcroft. Seemed like a rock solid public servant. RIP.

RIP Martin Birch. Undisclosed cause of death at the age of 71. Incredible engineer and producer for Deep Purple, Rainbow, Dio era Black Sabbath, White Snake, and most famously Iron Maiden, producing every album from Killers in 81 to Fear of the Dark in 92.

RIP Trini Lopez at 83 of COVID complications.
In addition to a few hits in the 70s he designed guitars used by Dave Grohl.

The ES-335 (and its variants/spinoffs) is the only semi-hollow guitar I'd actually want to have.
