Rest in peace, Mr. Lewis.
I highly, highly recommend reading Walking with the Wind, his memoir of the Civil Rights movement. It gave me a newfound appreciation for what he and others of that era were able to accomplish, no doubt.

He visited Juniata College in 2004...my wife had the book I mentioned signed by him at that time. Said he stayed way late signing books and talking to every student.
He walked the walk.

Maurice Roeves passed away earlier this week. He played Colonel Munro in Last of the Mohicans (father of the girls). Met a tough end in that one. @eddysnake

Regis and Don Rickles had a very long lasting friendship going back to 1950s Vegas. He kind of became a punch line by the time he was hosting Millionaire (which he was the OG at), but he had serious comedic chops.
This is a fun watch.

Philbin's appearances with Letterman were always great. He appeared on his show something like 135 times, 60 more than the second place person, Jack Hanna.

The last remaining star of Hollywood's Golden Age. Crazy that her sister lived almost as long as she did.

From February......
It's crazy to think Olivia de Havilland, one of the four big stars of Gone with the Wind, is still alive. Ditto for Norman Lloyd (105) and Vera Lynn (102)
