Charlie Daniels dying is turds but he was up there.
Country music and southern rock legend Charlie Daniels has died.

Absolute Publicity, the publicist behind Daniels, announced the Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry member died this morning at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Doctors determined the cause of death was a hemorrhagic stroke. Daniels was 83.

That one has freaked me out for a while. 41, fit, no preexisting conditions. Absolutely terrifying.

I call shenanigans on him being healthy prior to contracting COVID-19

I'm just thankful to see this thread is promoted by Shaf for something other than him wantonly murdering celebrities with his voodoo.

This is a great tribute piece CBS Sunday Morning did on Reiner--worth a watch. Interviews with Lear/Van Dyke.

I'm sure this was common knowledge about her case at the time, but I had forgotten she was preggers with the kid's, er, kid at the time of her conviction. They got married after she was released and had a second kid together.

Huh

Apparently she was battling breast cancer. Had a huge milfy crush on her when I was a kid.

Found out late last night that a classmate who sat behind me in homeroom passed away over the weekend. Only 45 and died of a heart attack. I don't know the whole story, but it didn't sound like he had any prior known health problems and seemed to be in good health overall.

Oh yeah, she was definite crush material in high school.

Preston and Travolta have a place in Ocala, FL, where my grandparents lived until Grandpa passed and Grandma had to move north. They own a place at the Jumbolair fly in community, which is where he kept his 707, not sure what he has now. You saw them out and about and it's no big deal. Grandma used to talk about how Travolta held the door for her at Panera once and what a nice polite young man he is. I was not aware she was ill.
