Has The Last Dab been ruled out as a cause?

I wonder if he ever made up with Weird Al.
By the early 2000s, Coolio’s negative feelings toward Yankovic had mostly subsided, with the rapper claiming, reports Yahoo, that he allowed his own ego to get in the way.

“I sat down, and I really thought it out,” he stated. “I was like, ‘Wait a minute.’ I was like, ‘Coolio, who the f—k do you think you are? He did Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson didn’t get mad.’ I was being too magnificent and too terrific about myself and that’s not what you want to do.”

Coolio even said that he apologized personally to Yankovic, for the way that he had acted in the ’90s. He said: “I’ve since apologized to him. Again, that was so stupid. … That was a stupid thing for me to do. That was one of the dumbest things I did in my career.”

Neat.

I watched a Weird Al doc recently that said Coolio kept going back and forth about it, retracting apologies and such.

Unpopular opinion but Weird Al is one of the most unfunny acts of my lifetime and I could never understand the appeal.

He played the dumb guy.

Even worse in the telethons.

He did make up with Weird Al. According to an interview: "I sat down, and I really thought it out. I was like, Wait a minute. I was like, Coolio, who the f—k do you think you are? He did Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson didn't get mad. I've since apologized to him. Again, that was so stupid. … That was a stupid thing for me to do. Weird Al is a much better songwriter and musician than any of the Beatles ever were.

I love Weird Al. His songs aren’t super funny (just because music is very difficult medium to be funny through) but are really damn good parodies

UHF is an absolutely hilarious movie

oh, weird Coolio connection for me

my AIM username was “coolio” with some numbers appended. Not sure why I chose that, I guess I liked the name coolio. I use that same username pretty often now

also, Gangsta’s Paradise is a great song

1, 2, 3, 4 is Coolio’s best song. I’m not accepting questions or comments at this time.

One of my favorite videos too. "This is some of the lingua franca of the funk business. And people come from miles around, with almost a religious devotion to get on down."

Nice Jamie Foxx cameo at the 2:10 mark.

Slide, slide, slippity slide, if you're livin in the city, it's do or die. He's onto his next Fantastic Voyage.
