We just watched the Ugly Delicious episode with him in India; he seemed like a really good dude.

He's the second Top Chef alum to pass away, that I know of, in the last year or so (Fatima Ali).
I completely forgot she passed

Coburn had a great relationship with President Obama. It was actually one of the nice examples of people from opposing viewpoints getting along.

RIP Country singer Joe Diffie at 61. COVID 19

Per his request, we should prop him up beside the jukebox.

I'm crushed by this. One of my favorite country artists of the 90s.

I’ll be very sad if John Prine ends up in this thread because of the virus.

Alan Merrill - who co-wrote the song "I Love Rock and Roll" that became a signature hit for fellow rocker Joan Jett - died Sunday in New York of complications from the coronavirus, his daughter said. He was 69.

Merrill was HUGE in Japan.... Pretty much the first westerner to have that kind of success there.

We are going to lose a lot of older artists I'm afraid,

Andrew Jack passed away today from COVID-19. He is not a household name to most, but as one of the world's leading dialect coaches, he was the supervising coach for the Lord of the Rings trilogy and basically invented the Middle Earth accent. He taught that accent, Elvish, and Black Speech to the cast of the trilogy. He clearly did a phenomenal job.

He also played Colonel/General Amatt in TFA and TLJ. RIP.

Oh man, he worked on a ton of shows. He even had an on-screen cameo in Star Wars.

Edit: Didn't see you had called that out.
