Having the ashes around for a bit helped my wife.

Ditto. My grandfather’s ashes got passed around between his three kids and it helped them all grieve then let go when they passed them on.

My aunt was shocked when I said I wasn't sure if I was burying them. She seemed to think it had to be done or needed to be done.

I'm thinking to myself it's not really your decision what I do with them.

whaaaaaaaaaaaat

it was reported last week or so that he had entered palliative care. his family responded that wasn't true but that he was "resting comfortably at home". I'm not sure who they were trying to convince, themselves or the fans but this was easy to see coming.

I’m stunned that she was still alive and only 93. RIP Jerry’s mom.

RIP Mrs. Ochmonek
I was wondering if anyone else would pick up that one too. I’d love to know how the writers of that show came up with that surname for them.

Guy LaFleur at 70. Remember him as one of, if not the last helmetless player. Damn

The last was, of course, Craig MacTavish.

I got into hockey in the very early 90s, and iirc there were like 5 or 6 helmetless players left at that time.
