Beaver County icon. His last restaurant closed about the time we moved back here in ‘99.

RIP Ahmad Jamal. Pittsburgh is an underrated cradle of jazz musicians and Jamal was one of the more famous jazz pianists of his time. Eff cancer.

Yes, morkle is on point here. Any sort of practical item is the play. Food in bulk, helping with a chore, etc

My wife and I went into a BB&B probably back in early 2021, for the first time in years. It was empty of both product, customers, and had two disinterested employees. I remember saying to my wife that this place won't be around long.

I read about him yesterday. Just crazy that there is only 1 survivor from the USS Arizona left on this earth. I know time goes by, but when I was a kid, all these guys were in their 60s and 70s. Now, there aren't many left.Fair winds and following seas

this is something I looked up a few weeks ago. a bit morose but I had the same thought you did NAN
I'm a bit surprised that they're predicting it'll take until 2045 for all WW2 veterans to pass (it's longer than I expected). Kind of fitting from an anniversary standpoint though

They probably have it going out there for that one Japanese person that lives to be 118 years old.
Edit: N/M saw it was US. But still probably have it going out that far for the one 118 year old that will just hang around.

BB&B always seemed overpriced. The only decent purchase we got from there was a Shark vacuum before it really took off. Had a coupon and gift card and used only $50 of our own to buy it.
