Only 7. That’s a shame. The premature death of a pet really sucks.

Herman Wouk, author of the Caine Mutiny, Winds of War, and War and Remembrance (to name a few) died at 103 today. He actually published a new book a few years ago.

Tbh, when they were turning those books into TV miniseries I honestly thought the guy was 100 years old then.

To this day, when I hear the HBO static opening for one of their shows/films/whatever, I always anticipate hearing the Sopranos opening theme next...

RIP my wife's grandfather, or "Papa Duke", as he was known in the family. One of the most generous men I've ever known, and he and his wife were probably the first people in her family to accept me way back in 2006. It's honestly a blessing as he has had Parkinson's related dementia for four or five years, but still really hurts. He was the patriarch and a great dude.

Yikes. Growing up a Red Sox fan, he was roundly detested by the budding Masshole movement. Too young.

RIP to Leon Redbone.

Would've thought he was older than 69.
