Yeah, that prompted some rapid fire Googling a few minutes ago.

There was such a long gap between the last time I watched a Super Dave bit and my watching of Curb that I didn't realize it was the same guy until well after the fact. RIP.

Same.

I'm old enough to remember his Officer Judy character on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. And Super Dave Osborne.

He was so good on Curb.

RIP.

I forget where I originally saw that clip that nocera posted, but after watching it I had that "I know that voice from somewhere" moment and had to hit up IMDB.

It took me watching an episode of Comedians Having Coffee to connect Super Dave and Funkhouser. RIP

Growing up we used to go to PV’s Pizza in Homestead and I remember Captain & Tennille on the jukebox.

RIP Captain

Neil Young's long time wife, Pegi Young, passed away from cancer today. She had a big influence on his music, and was in his video with him for Harvest Moon.
With great sadness, we confirm that on January 1st, after a yearlong battle with cancer, Pegi Young - mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, musician, activist and co-founder of the Bridge School - passed away surrounded by her friends and family in her native California. We request that the families' privacy be respected at this time.
She founded the Bridge School in the 80s too. I was not happy when Daryl Hannah broke up that marriage.

It sure does. I remember when my Dad turned 45 (my age). I thought he was ridiculously old then...
