F Cancer.

It's simple, but the percussion intro to Float On is about as iconic as it gets in my household.

Gymkhana / Rally driver Ken Block, dead at 55 from a snow mobile accident. 2023, starting out shitty.

I came to post that but a player [likely] died on the field at MNF and I got distracted. Like, what a surreal 20 minutes.

Such a waste of a good life and many more ruined. I wish that guy would have been taken alive.

Yeah, my good friend who is an officer was close to him, texted last night before he was going out for his night shift and was upset. He knows other cops killed or injured in the line of duty, but said this one hit extra hard, partly because he knew him well, but also just how good of a guy he was and how he will be missed.

I met him at a wedding one time. He was a super nice guy. He didn't seem out of place at the Hopwood fire hall lol.

I haven't met a single person yet that has anything bad to say about him. A genuine man who didn't let money change his personality. Mrs mac met him on several occasions during a short stint in Nemacolin's HR department. He and Maggie always rewarded their employees with Nemacolin's gift cards. I know it was "house money" but for someone like us at the time, who would never be able to afford Nemacolin anything, it was nice.

Now you have to be a member or an overnight guest to do almost anything up there.

Same, never heard a bad word about him.

Not sure if he was involved directly, but Nemacolon waives the stay to play policy for our veterans group. It's the only way most of our vets can afford it. :thumb:

Very cool.

I don't hate the policy, I understand why. But it'd be nice to have like "open to the public every Wednesday" days. (full disclosure, there may very well be...)

Any time a cause of death is not mentioned, I assume suicide or overdose. Or if you’re a Covid-denier and antivaxer, I assume it’s Covid.
