If Michael Pitt wouldn't have been such a ****** to work with, leading to his character's early demise, Boardwalk Empire would have become a better show than The Wire.
Is that why they killed him off? Makes complete sense now because that character arch made zero sense

They said it was planned, and I'm sure it was, but not in season 2. There were tons of reports that Pitt fought with directors, didn't know his lines, was constantly late, etc. Such a shame because I loved the dynamic between Jimmy and Nucky.

RIP Jean-Paul Belmondo

Image
I still think I did not experience many negative cultural shocks when I moved to the US nearly 30 years ago. But, the fact that the vast majority of American public is so incredibly "Hollywood-blind" and that so many Americans voluntarily choose to stay ignorant and not to familiarize themselves with stars of world cinema - like Belmondo - well, that's is a damn shame...

Always seemed like a genuinely good dude. Barbara Bush coming up and kissing him at the (I think) inaugural parade was a fun memory.

Why, I don't think there's a person in here that would not love to watch Henry Fonda pick blueberries.

His late night TV show from a few years ago was absolutely killer. The episode with David Spade is by far my favorite.

I've noticed how bloated he's looked over the last few years. Must have been the meds he was on.
