Did not see this posted, but original Four Seasons member Tommy DeVito has passed at the age of 92 due to COVID.

https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/ ... mmy-devito

I never knew that he was close friends with Joe Pesci, and that Pesci actually introduced him to Bob Gaudio, who joined the group in 1962 and wrote almost all of their biggest hits.

In addition to Helen Reddy, the debate also claimed Mac Davis overnight.

Davis was a native of Lubbock, TX who wrote “A Little Less Conversation” and “In the Ghetto” among others for Elvis and had many country and several Top 40 hits of his own.

I especially remember this song playing in my Grandparents’ Oldsmobile.

And the trifecta is completed.

Mark Harris, frequent Stern Show guest and former husband of Martha Raye has died.

NOTE: Apparently he died in 2018 but it wasn’t confirmed on Stern until today. So there’s still an opening on the trifecta.

Here’s one of his many “hit” songs:

Aw, Helen Reddy........ she was Nora in Pete's Dragon, which was one of my favorite movies as a little kid.

I was on the golf course yesterday when I got a call from a co-worker who was also on vacation. I knew that was a bad sign so I picked up. she told me that another of our co-workers had passed away. I knew that he'd been having serious liver issues (due to drinking) and even had a stroke last week. apparently he had 2 more strokes and was put on a vent. his family made the brutal decision to pull the plug after which he lasted about an hour. he was 38 years old and had 2 small children. :o
