This is sad - he seemed like a genuinely good dude. And a hell of a football player.

RIP Penny Marshall

The space goes...

down down baby, down down the roller coaster.

Sweet sweet baby, sweet sweet don't let me go.

shimmy shimmy coco pop, shimmy shimmy rock,

shimmy shimmy coco pop, shimmy shimmy rock

I met a girlfriend- a triscuit,

she said a triscuit-a biscuit,

ice cream soda pop

vanilla on the top

oooo Shalida, walking down the street,

ten times a week

I meant it. I said it.

I stole my mama's credit.

I'm cool. I'm hot.

Sock you in the stomach three more times.

Awe... Sigi Schmid passed away on Christmas :(

He was a super nice guy when I had a chance to talk to him at the US Open Cup after party in Philly five years ago. Even toasted with him.

https://ktla.com/2018/12/26/sigi-schmid ... ies-at-65/
Schmid was the winningest coach in MLS history with 266 regular and postseason victories over 18 seasons. He led the Galaxy to its first MLS Cup title in 2002 and guided the Columbus Crew to a league championship six years later. He also won three Supporters Shields, which goes to the team with the best regular-season record, captured five U.S. Open Cups and in 2000 he took the Galaxy to their only CONCACAF title

He built the Sounders team that won the MLS championship, but got bylsma'd half way through the season.

RIP to one of my most beloved co-workers, Fran. She was a wonderful lady, and I talked to her all the time--she had a wicked sense of humor, and always came by my office to say hello every time she was in. I just saw her at our quarterly meeting a week and a half ago and we had a great conversation. We got the word yesterday morning that she had passed away unexpectedly--apparently, it was carbon monoxide poisoning in her house. I'm just devastated for her family--her husband passed a few years ago, and it's awful that it happened Christmas night. I will sincerely miss her, as she was one of my favorite people to work with on a daily basis.

Folks, if you don't have CO detectors, GET THEM. Preferably, the plug-in kind that have battery backup. One on each floor. It could happen to anyone.

I am here with my CO detector unplugged and literally just sitting on my desk.... :face:

Every workplace has that person that seems to brighten the office up, just because that is their nature. What a shame.
