These douchebags were insufferable before the game. I hope the Buckeyes absolutely slaughter them.

And now the story is how resilient Michigan is in the face of adversity. Eff them. They cheated. NCAA do the right thing and block them from postseason.
Do it.

Allar stinks
I mean, he hasn't been great but he needs coaches who will put him in a position to succeed. I'd transfer if I was him. He's made a tremendous mistake coming here.

At this point I ride with him and hope he can fluke into something at some point. Who do you replace him with, Matt Rhule? Good guy with all accounts but never really done anything close to even what JF has done. Be the next landing spot for Prime Time when he realizes the Big XII sucks?

Yurcich, however, needs to be gone yesterday.

QBs are going to start noticing… look at the Levis situation. Super talented kid, comes here and won’t even sniff time on the field, transfers and is phenomenal. I bet Allar in Alabama is a Heisman candidate.

You grab a young up and comer/no name and hope they pay off for the next decade. If not, dump em when something better is available.

Cheaters never win, unless of course they're facing a James Franklin coached Penn State team.

Allar may end up being great, but he's not great right now. He's pretty much below average. And the weird thing is if he doesn't fumble the ball I think they are in the game til the very end.

You saw the difference between a competent O coordinator and a shite O coordinator. Mich was creative, and found something that worked...and rode it into the ground. Our guy threw darts at a board. Our head coach was out out coached by a non head coach.

Meh...bring on the citrus bowl.

All that said, JF has this team right at the top of the second tier for the nation. Once you get past the Alabama, Georgia, OSU, etc. cream of the crop, PSU is right there with other teams as far as sustained success.

Sorry, but when you throw one great ball all day, and a whole bunch behind receivers, or high, or to no one.......yeah. Yurcich is trash, but Allar hasn't exactly smelled like roses. Lots of talent, but it doesn't show up on the field. Sure...chicken or egg. But.....yeah

It's clear Franklin is letting Yurchich run the show I'd say, evidenced by the one 4th down they went for it and showed Franklin for a solid 20 seconds and he never even opened his mouth.

I've got it as 19-13 Michigan. Franklin and PSU has to prove to me that they can win a big game like this. They've got all the talent to be able to do it and I'd love to see how Michigan reacts to being in a 4-quarter game given that their best win is probably UNLV. But will the playcalling be OSU conservative again or will they try to use the middle of the field more and will Drew take a few more risks. There's nothing to lose in this game. If they win, they've still got all their goals in front of them (with some help). If they lose, then it's off to the Citrus Bowl.
It was like watching a re-run of the OSU game just different venue and different opponent.

Dumbest coach/offensive coordinator combo in America.

You're right about that. Allar has to hit the targets when they're there. Throwing behind Saunders when it was 14-9 early 4th was a killer. But what just crushes me is that I watch all these other games and I see teams running slants and posts and pitching the ball all over the middle of the field but when PSU gets into a big game, they're allergic to any passes between the hash marks. Every pass goes to the sideline. And it's pretty obvious that the offensive coaches learned nothing from the OSU debacle. 2nd and 1? Let's toss it out to the side on a play that never works. 2nd and 3 and we're running a flea flicker that was run way too quickly to fake anyone out. We waste the speed of Singleton by giving him the ball when he's at a dead stop while in the shotgun, the same way they wasted Barkley's speed for much of his career. The Kaytron Allen throwback to Allar on 4th down was not exactly something I liked but they're fortunate it worked. And don't even get me started about the decisions to go for 2, let alone the play calls they came up with there, especially that last backyard BS they drew up.

I'm so sick of Franklin. As well as the sentiment that we should be grateful for consistent nine or ten win seasons. These recruiting classes are too good to not be able to at least win some games against the B1G elite.

The offensive players are just utterly wasted on this team. Allar being bad complicates issues immensely.

People going after Jimmy for the second two point attempt but the first was worse, IMO. Get it to 14-10 there and fast forward, it's 24-10 and you're definitely kicking the second one to get to 24-17.

I don't care what the analytics say, I'd always kick in the first half. You don't know what's going to happen, try the 98% one point instead of the 50% two.

The second, I get it, you missed and left yourself down two scores, but you have to get the 2 at some point anyway. I'd have kicked but I understand it more than the first.

You never chase points until the 4th quarter. Once you start chasing and you miss, you're gonna have to chase the rest of the game. But I'm gonna strongly disagree with you on the 2nd 2-pt try. You're down 9 with 2 minutes left. If you miss -- and given this team's penchant for being able to get 2 yards against a great defense, missing is likely -- then you're screwed because now it takes 2 possessions. Kick the XP there and get it to 8 and then you only need one possession. The spreadsheet geeks will lose their pocket protectors and say 'but then if you do that and miss the 2 on the next possession, the calculator says your chance of losing is almost 100%!!!!' but at least if you do get that possession and miss it and now you're down 2, you at least have an onside kick opportunity to get the ball back unless the clock is below 5 seconds.

Too many times, Franklin abides by the spreadsheet. And I've always said, when you coach/manage that way, you have zero feel for the game. Same thing with going for 2 at the end of the Ohio State game. There was zero point of doing that and you killed whatever goodwill you had for getting that touchdown.
