Boy… I must have been out of it. Lol. That was a long ass game. I thought it was in extra innings. Nevermind. I gave up after the A’s tied it in the 8th. Figured that was the end of it as in traditional bucco fashion.

That game was pretty hilarious.

To get through 8 innings, the A’s threw 182 pitches. Averaging over 20 / inning for a whole game. You would expect more than 6 hits. This offense can be brutal to watch. Also, this would be the kind of game where Austin hedges would be the hero/reason for victory

The caught stealing of Ruiz in the top of the ninth with no outs, was huge. He’s only been caught 6 times out of 35 attempts this season.

Dylan Crews had another huge game for LSU yesterday in their home regional fwiw. The Pirates could really use a plus power bat in the org.

Anthony solemeto starting to break out.

Already increased his innings count from last year. Four straight starts with 6 or more innings. And only 3 earned runs over that stretch. Between him and Jared jones, the development side looking competent
