Little stuff that you do to improve your day/life

Drinking beer at a library sounds nice.
He had a whole section on how we consume alcohol is wrong. Alcohol should be consumed while we're doing something that sucks... Not while we're already having fun as it can make sucky things better, but only marginally makes good things better. He said a commute while drinking would be ideal if it weren't for those pesky laws and safety concerns.

An example he gave though was for a concert or sporting event: Drink while you're getting ready (yes... shower beers are a real thing that make you happier), drink while you're in line to get into the concert as waiting in a line sucks, but then when you're actually at the concert, stop drinking. Enjoy the music, enjoy your company, enjoy what's already pleasurable. Then as you're waiting for your uber to get there and pick you up, get a buzz on again.
Shopping errands, what sadistic witchcraft is this?
It's just an underrated activity. On a list of 38 activities, it was predicted to be #29, but when you look at the actual data, it clocks in at #17 on the list. So it's not like people are having huge rushes of joy doing so, it's that people are happier doing it than expected. Again, cognitive biases n'at.

Edit: also keep in mind, this over 60,000 people. These are all averages. Of course individuals may vary.
