Have you never seen them plow highways before? They usually have more than one truck, staggered, with the plows moving the snow to the shoulder on the right.
I confess it has been about 25 years since I've actually seen snow, so....

GDOT bought one of these a few years ago. it took exactly one event for the driver to clip the guardrail :face:

Who wants to own an underground bunker in Las Vegas that's set up so its looks like an underground house, complete with a painted "blue sky" ceiling, yards, a pool, waterfall, and (fake) trees?

Oh my... We were just talking about people stealing plow trucks earlier.

I went to high school with this kid. Hung out with him a good bit. This is sad but a hilarious coincidence

He’s a “hard” 37. Looks more like 57.

We got a new Zamboni at the Penn State rink one year a couple months before a big blizzard. When the storm hit, we took the old Zam out and 'resurfaced' some of the streets at the north end of campus. We were only out for 10 or 15 minutes, but it was one of my favorite college memories.

My local pizza shop is now permanently take out and eat in - no delivery. I'm not sure how well they think that will work out, but I guess I have to find a new spot.

I own a vehicle so that is a non-issue for me.

The only time we order from them is when we don't feel like going out to grab something. Between this and some other issues we've had with them recently, I'm not terribly upset.

None of the best pizza places near us deliver and they aren’t hurting.

But a mediocre place that doesn’t deliver is bad. But they probably can’t find consistent drivers.

They definitely aren't mediocre, but something changed. I'll still stop in for a slice at lunch every once in a while, but they won't be my go-to anymore for pizza night. There's another place nearby that we liked, as well, so we'll probably just use them from now on.

I have never ordered a pizza (or any other food, for that matter) for delivery. I always go pick it up.

I also haven’t done pizza delivery in years. Pick up all the way.
