Yup. Fitbit is fine for people that are strictly walking and want to track steps/activity, but if you are doing any kind of running or want to really dig into your stats, Garmin is the way to go.garmin > Fitbit as far as wearable fitness devices go.
I particularly enjoy the VO2 max stuff. It's been interesting to watch my score go down running in the heat/humidity. Allegedly I am between a 48-50 but on the hot days I've run it is slightly lower since my heart rate is more elevated at the same or lower speeds.
