I guess I can put this in the Randomness thread: so I almost got run over by a pickup truck at work today....
basically my boss's boss came down to check on something that I thought wasn't right with an outgoing vehicle (I work for GDOT in the Fleet Management office) and as I was walking back inside I crossed behind his truck (my fault but I thought he'd go forward not backward) and he didn't see me and threw the truck in reverse. all I could think was, "don't get caught under the wheel". I was able to move fast enough that I just barely got clipped, lost my balance and hit the pavement with my butt, elbow and head. no real blood, no loss of consciousness. just about one of the scariest moments of my life.

he's still freaked out 5 hours later. he's convinced his boss is going to fire him but his boss just keeps teasing him about it because he knows I'm ok.....And what did he say?
