I’d imagine an accident at 700mph would mean instant death. Those tolerances must be narrow.

I want to go to the Lion King
I saw Lion King on Broadway. What an amazing show.

I called my state rep and spoke with somebody there. They said they'd do some digging and will see what they can to do help out, so we'll see where it goes.
The person at my state rep's office called me that afternoon confirming that the entire length of the road is scheduled to be resurfaced this year.

Congrats on getting that road paved in November.

Congrats on getting that road paved in November.
They could pave it on December 31st and I'd still be thrilled. That road has already cost me over $300 in wheel repairs, and is in dire need of repaving.

No idea where to post this... Pittsburgh Culutral Arts just announced the 2019-2020 broadway season and it’s insane. Classics like Miss Saigon, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Les Mis. Plus “newer” shows like Lion King, Mean Girls, and A Bronx Tale.

Definitely going to Les Mis and Superstar.
Les Mis and Lion King are spectacular. Les Mis stands as one of the single greatest pieces of entertainment in human history, of course, but if you don't get goose bumps from the opening Circle of Life number and the way they handle Cloud Mufasa, then you are a soulless dullard. (Royal 'you', I'm sure you'll get it)

Also, I am allergic to Andrew Lloyd Webber music. I break out in hate. True story.
I've seen Les Mis, Superstar, and Lion King. I haven't seen either Les Mis or Superstar since high school, though, so I'm very excited to see them again. Lion King I saw during it's last run at the Benedum and I have to admit that I was disappointed. I'm a big Disney fan but I just found that it added nothing new to the story. The puppetry was amazing, but that wore off after the first few songs.

Now I need to know more...was this an "old person confuses brake and gas and blames it on defect", a drunk driver, or an actual defective accelerator accident?

Just think about how bad it is going to hurt seeing Mufasa die in HD

I heard from an inside source that The Book of Mormon is coming to State College next year. I'm definitely going to snag tickets to see that.

¯\ _(ツ)_/¯

I felt the same about the musical as I do about the live action remakes. They're neat and all, but are they really necessary?

First time wearing glasses since probably middle school. It feels weird, but the improvement in what I can see is crazy. It's like a whole new world. The biggest difference is going to be driving at night. I guess I was barely above the legal minimum for driving without glasses.

Who’s responsibility is it to replace the bathroom trash bag? The person that removed the previous trash bag or the next person that wants to throw something into said trash can?

You take the bag out, you put the new bag in.

Savages.

I always just tip the contents of the bathroom trash bag into another bigger bag. I've been using the exact same liner bags for the entire time I've owned by house.

This is the smart play.

Using the same liner doesn't work so well when you live with a woman

Yeah, I should probably clarify that I do not live with any women, and my bathroom trash can primarily contains razor-blade wrappers and maybe the occasional Q-Tip. Stuff like used bandages or tissues I take out to my kitchen can, which is my "primary" trash can in the house.

This raises the question of how much trash everyone is generating. On an average week, I'd say I throw out a volume of trash equivalent to roughly 2/3 of a tall kitchen garbage bag. I've noticed that this seems to be a lot less than my neighbors—even the ones I know don't have any children at home. The ones I do know have children often have a giant mountain of trash bags at the curb.

I throw out easily 6 or 7 bags of trash a week.

We also only use paper plates for supper as I ain't washing six plates a day.

My biggest epiphany was being able to read menus...particularly those where the menu is behind the register on the wall or whatever...not knowing what you were gonna eat until you were at the register is very anti-social behavior...not no mo' tho...I can see from three people back now...suck it.
