If the Aston Martin has missles that can blow up cars traveling slowly in the left lane, then it's a no brainer for me.

So the local Rutter’s takes all those fruity alcohol drinks they sell in pounders (mikes, bud margarita things, etc) pours them into slushy machines and sells 20 oz alcohol slushies for $5. There were 4 nurses (I think they were nurses, they were all wearing scrubs) that were getting like 4 each and taking them to their car. I overheard the lady giving them out: “straws are over there... we ask you please don’t start drinking them until you’re home”
Two thoughts: first, I need to try one of these. Second, there’s 100% people driving around drinking alcoholic slushies.

I had no idea Rutters had snuck that far up into Central PA. Got awhile before they are a legit competitor in the Sheetz/Wawa war.

My gf and i have had some pretty extensive discussions about the alcoholic slushees. I’m all for them and i think it is a fairly creative way to help businesses stay afloat. That being said, the sale of slushees in also contingent upon people drinking them in a responsible manner (i.e. not while driving). If we have learned one thing during the pandemic, behaving like a reasonable adult is often a bridge too far

Yeah. They put one just up the street from where I work. I gotta say, they’re a legit contender to sheetz. Food is good, beverage selection is good, plenty of gas pumps. Notbad.jpg

Anyone ever watch the Challenge on MTV? We actually put one on with our group of friends yesterday and had a blast. 21 of us running around doing stupid **** in the neighborhood, running laps with bags of mulch, carrying wood/stacking logs. Good stuff and I am hurting today

the alcoholic slushies to go thing is new here, but I have seen them on tv before (in Texas I think?). It is legal to drive with as long as you don't put the straw in. I'm sure there are people who ignore that.

We get ours from Zooky's on Route 51 in Beaver Falls. Actual legit booze vs the malt beverage ones at the local convenience store and damn sure better than the ones I put together in the Ninja. They have Margarita and Long Island ones.

There are 3 in the Altoona/ Duncansville area also. They’ve bought land in Bedford County to build another one along Rt. 30. I’ve been buying their ethanol free gas since they opened.I had no idea Rutters had snuck that far up into Central PA. Got awhile before they are a legit competitor in the Sheetz/Wawa war.

Had one a few weeks back from our local beer store. They’re pretty good.So the local Rutter’s takes all those fruity alcohol drinks they sell in pounders (mikes, bud margarita things, etc) pours them into slushy machines and sells 20 oz alcohol slushies for $5. There were 4 nurses (I think they were nurses, they were all wearing scrubs) that were getting like 4 each and taking them to their car. Turns out having a bus full of bride's maids yelling your name isn't as fun as some websites may lead you to believe...
