Yeah, for me it's just a celebration of life more than anything...you can't get a refund on time, so I don't waste mine (in my eyes, at least)...in the same way that people post about having kids, getting married, getting a new job, losing weight, or watching Korean cam girls play strip Texas Hold'em against each other (RIP sarcastic), I'm just happy to be able to do what I do...I could see if I spammed the board with my nonsense 3 and 4 times a week, but I really think my tales are comparatively few and far between...though, that might be a lack of self-awareness and short-term memory loss...which is totally unrelated to this...

I love that even in saying your an outsider you flex. Never change (not a joke, we live vicariously through you).Interesting point, CBear...the answer to that is "no"...I'm very much an outsider to his friend group, the person that probably likes me the most is his wife - which she made clear one New Year's Eve years ago, but I was a good boy and took no action on that...

My wedding gift buying is strictly tied to the need of the couple. A couple in their mid-30s both making six figures? You get a card. Couple in their mid-20s without two nickels to rub together? I’ll drop $250 on you - if I like you.

My man, although sometimes I don't even give a card. Most of the time, my dancing is enough of a gift.My wedding gift buying is strictly tied to the need of the couple. I feel like in the first scenario I gotta atleast donate enough to cover the cost of my dinner plate but yeah, going to go heavier if people truly need help getting their marriage off the ground. Couples that have lived togethe rfor years and have all their stuff already and that type of thing get a smaller giftMy man, although sometimes I don't even give a card. The nurses called me spongebob today cause of all the holes they put in me. One for my lab work, one big one for my phlebotomy, and then my flu shot.

Yeah, a little bit of a tough look, right? I thought it was a little weird, but good excuse to use some excess PTO and break out my hot pink tie...

Nice thing about this is that I don't have to be Set the Tone Malone. I can just go with the flow, open bar, dancing, my three piece suit of blue and pink attire, and on a real hot streak...I figure only fun can be had. Got a lot of the hockey boys from college along for the ride, so I'm sure we'll tear it up...and then I'll run back home, so I can coach in central PA tomorrow afternoon.
Oh, you know what, a couple people here live in or are familiar with Lancaster area ( @factorial ? Shad Pennington?) any decent restaurant recommendations? Mid-tier place, nothing fancy...but I told the Mothership I would take her out for a birthday dinner and she named a bunch of gross chain restaurants that only five and dime flunkies would be at on a Saturday night. Since I won't eat at something called a "Carrabba's", it's either I find a non-chain or I go back to Philly and mail her some good food with a card...

Am I a horrible person for feeling a bit bummed out that the video didn't end with an alligator eating the fish 5 seconds after it was released?

It's better than wanting the video to end with an alligator eating the kid, but only a little.
