After years of using K cups because I'm lazy, I decided this weekend would be the start of using my adjustable grinder and French press.

I feel like a fool for waiting this long. Not nearly as much work as I thought.

I find cleaning the French press annoying.

I've gone with the coarsest grind setting and have found I can just rinse with water.

I don't trust sending coffee grinds down the drain on a routine basis. The breakroom sink at the office used to clog, and I remember an off-hand comment from the plumber dude there fixing it one day, and he blamed all the coffee remnants.

We have a disposal so not sure how much that would help

Could all be plumber lore. But I don't think the disposal would matter (the breakroom sink had a diposal). He implied that the grinds build up in the pipes.

My house is old, the pipes are problematic, so I try to avoid antagonizing them whenever I can. So, could be a complete non-issue.

what am i missing about that joke that makes it funnier? I'm asking earnestly
First you have to "get" 3YL, then when you do you have to reed the whole twitter thread.

Like someone else said it's a bad twitter follow because it is the same stuff all the time but a couple times a year it's freaking hilarious.

All of my grinds are medium/fine since it’s drip, but I don’t hesitate to rinse them down the drain. Newer house, but unless I had legitimate plumbing issues, my stance wouldn’t change.

I hunted last year for the first time. We went out a ton and I didn't see a single deer. This year, after only one scouting trip, I filled my doe tag before 9am on opening day. Pretty cool.

Yeah, jerky, ground version, and back strap for me.

Saturday opening day started last year. Can also hunt deer on Sunday's, also new last year.

Went to Costco again today to actually browse every aisle, and man, I have been spending too much money elsewhere for years. The membership will pay for itself in the first 2-3 months, easily.

Nearly one month later, Costco got around to re-charging me for the washer and dryer.

It will probably take months for the committee to approve any changes.
