10 mil is enough to live large but not like, buy anything. Like insofar as to create a generational family fortune.
Can I get a purple pill and get $5 mil to start over at 40, and put it all on either VGK to win the West in their first season or Leicester United’s PL title?

Anyone remember the Pittsburgh Pirates blog "Where Have You Gone, Andy Van Slyke"? The guy that started that blog was a buddy of mine from my college years, and has since moved on to other things (his last blog post was in 2017).

Anyways... he's going to be on Jeopardy this Thursday. I'll certainly be tuning in to cheer on the Pittsburgh native.

Pat is from Hermitage also. I went to grade school with his little bro - think Pat and I were in little league at the same time my 10 year old year when he was 12. Didn't know that he was going on Jeopardy though, cool!

Our HS history teacher was on about fifteen years ago so this will be the second person I have a somewhat of a personal connection with. More so the teacher because I took his daughter to prom

The question in that screenshot… how the hell do you get it wrong?

Was that the first question? Normally there isn't two remotely reasonable answers on the first question I feel like...

I think it was her second question... it was a tough question for the sub-1K mark, for sure.

I remember her being so excited about going to compete and everyone in the school was excited for her, she got back and we were specifically told not to ask her how it went.

Yeah, that's a tough one...I'd come out and just own it. I'd arrange like a makeshift hootenanny at school that next day and just lean into it...honestly, I didn't know that word had such a specific definition...I would have guessed right there given the choices, but in a free-form textbox I don't know what I would have come up with to be honest...

The Spider-Man stuntronic in Disneyland had a bit of an issue…

Freddy's sister was on back in 2016 or so. She didn't win.

I was unaware of the current champ’s run on jeopardy. Impressive.

Is the Campus at Disneyland or CA Adventure? We're going to the former in a few weeks, but I would love it if I got to see Spider-Man get turfed.

It’s DCA. If you’ve been there before it’s right by Guardians of the Galaxy (Tower of Terror).

I could easily miss that hootenanny question. That's a word I associate with hillbilly fun, and in the pressure of the moment and thinking it's an easy question, I could easily miss that.

Pat did a great job with Whygavs, honestly one of the best Bucco sites out there when he ran it. I saw on Reddit he is a chemistry professor now?

It looks like something malfunctioned as soon as the stuntronic launched. Here's what it's supposed to look like:

What if I haven't been there before, where is it?
