I cracked my coffee mug that I bought prior to running my Vegas half. Dropped it on a tile floor in our break room. Surprisingly, only the handle cracked and one large piece cracked off. The mug itself is mostly intact but not usable.

The worst part is that I had coffee in there from Thursday and I'm probably wearing most of the contents that were in the mug.

Not to make you feel worse, but my youngest sister saw a construction worker get run over when she was 6 and she's now 32 and still has nightmares about it every now and then.

Back when I was a kid, a friend and his family were going to Maine for vacation when they got a flat tire. The father got out to change the tire and was hit by a truck and thrown up in the air and then hit a second time by another truck. In full view of both kids and his wife. Nearly 40 years later, that gives me chills thinking about it. Lots of counseling for that family.

I walked by the massive police presence and asked what was going on, and the dude was like "car accident", and I had to loop all the way around. When I got to the other side I asked some bystanders what it was, and they told me it was the kidnapper.
