We had a transformer blow outside our bedroom window and it was similar. It looked like daylight inside the house with blinds down.

Fly NavySomeone is inevitably going to create a GPS dong that stretches from coast to coast. I have faith.

I have no real way to prove this but I'm pretty sure the board clock fell behind by like 3 minutes.

Edit: yup, definitely behind.

The post's time code for me shows as 16:06, so that's neat.

Came across a random Terry Tate clip, and dove right into some of my favorite commercials of all time.

I flipped ours on for like 30 minutes yesterday just to make sure all was good. It was like 63 in the house. Our annual maintenance is on Tuesday so I'm sure they will give it a good run through then. I checked my filters, and the filter I put in Jun 10th is still pretty damn clean.

I have a heat pump. This is the only time of the year that the heat is cheap so I'm happy to turn it on.
I am annoyed we had about three days of good open window weather before it dropped into the 50s.

I turn my heat on when it's cold and A/C when it's hot. Actually, it does it for me. You people are weird

Most all of us do the same. Skull is the only oddball who lets the house get to below 65...

Not sure where to put this, but, curious:

Good question. Those who I know that would use a stylus would not want a B&W e-ink tablet.

Do most people have an annual inspection before turning on the heat?

Florida Man getting cocky about the weather, this of all weeks. Bold strategy.

Self inspection. Check the burner tubes to make sure that they're clear, and that's about it.Do most people have an annual inspection before turning on the heat?

We have a brand new a/c and furnace...so yearly stuff is included in what we paid for like 5 years or something at no cost. Our old furnace was easy enough to check stuff on, these new furnaces though.. I'm not even sure I'd know what I was looking at inside. Face HE stuff that I know nothing about. I'd still have our A/C checked/cleaned yearly though no matter what.
