Someone is inevitably going to create a GPS dong that stretches from coast to coast. I have faith.

5 second rule doesn’t take into account stickiness factor. Ice cream scoops the dirt up like a magnet

Well, nothing about the five second rule makes sense...it's not how long something is on the floor, most things are picked up in less time than that, it's how much surface area it touched and what it touched...
If they dropped it into cow **** for 0.34 seconds, they're moving on with life...but if he dropped it on a sterile kitchen counter for 90 seconds, they're not even gonna bother wiping it off...
I never really understood the concept of the five-second rule...

Holy ****, something really bizarre and somewhat terrifying happened as this storm was approaching. Our power started dimming, but it was pulsing in beat with a loud pulsing sound I could hear coming from the family center complex behind our neighborhood.
I look out the window, and there is a bright white light flashing with the beat from the same direction. My neighbors were outside and had a better view to the west. They said it was eerie looking.
After roughly a minute, the pulsing abruptly stopped and the power went back to normal. Another friend at the back of the neighborhood (not an irrational person) thought aliens were landing for a moment. The power is out south of 741 and the neighborhood text is abuzz.
The weirdest thing? No fire whistle or sirens. Usually with these storms, if there's an outage nearby you are going to hear the fire whistle. I'm still wondering WTF happened.

When the storms rolled through here, the thunder sounded more like explosions occurring in quick succession. Didn't have any weird power issues though.

Got this text from neighbor with better line of sight.
It was bizarre & terrifying...the whole area behind the development was lit very bright white with a weird buzzing sound. We went on our front step & with the pulsing all of the lights in the development were dimming...

No joke, it was legit like I was in a small town with a secret government facility going haywire 3/4 mile away. And like I said, the absence of any fire call or sirens is almost alarmingIt was the opening to the upside down.

When my house got struck by lightning, in addition to frying electronics and making them play some really odd sounds, there was this mystifying white light that worked itself inside the house for a few seconds...it was bizarre and indescribable...
