Depending on the marque, I've seen sales drop offs reported anywhere from 20% to over 50% for some luxury builders.

Has this had any affect on the auto industry really? Like price wise?
@DigitalGypsy66 was given basically every incentive available, even though he qualified for none of them.

You shouldn’t get boned. Big demand for used vehicles.

I think I'm abandoned any thoughts of buying a new car given the state of everything right now.
You need to do your patriotic duty and spend.

Turned in my lease 3 weeks ago. My wife and I have another car and I have no desire at the moment to get anything else. We're both WFH for the foreseeable future, so no rush....which is really nice. Trying to decide on buying used or leasing again. This is essentially my 'drive to work' car, so.............

I am planning to buy a new one soon too... was considering selling mine privately to get more money and potentially being a 1 car family for a few weeks. Probably wouldn't be bad

Smaller used dealers are not taking on trades like they used to. The auction process/industry is disrupted right now so there is a ton of uncertainty on if dealers can unload trades and for what value.

The reason I stopped pursuing one of the M6s is because the dealer said no trades. Still haven't decided if I want the hassle of selling my Z4 private party.

They attempted to bone me, initially. I was given $1500 for a car worth between $1800-3200 (according to Kelly Blue Book). They ended up giving me $4500 for it, plus $2500 in incentives that I didn’t qualify for (first responder, Honda repeat buyer [which we were, but only if we traded a 2009 or newer Honda; we traded a 2008], and college graduate [lol I graduated 24 years ago]. The price of the vehicle stayed right around MSRP.

And I still haven’t driven it since last Saturday.

Might want to also throw a battery charger on it, too. Three guys I work with had dead batteries from letting them sit for months. I’ve got a charger plugged into mine basically full time since I don’t drive it.
Welp, our car died and I can't get it to hold a charge...

Battery appears dead and won't hold a jump. Kids were sitting on the roof with swords after not showering for who knows how long looking like a feral gang, so I probably shouldn't rule them out...

Found this tripod in the house and I want to connect this phone attachment piece that has a screw hole to it, but I can't figure out what the hell the top of this tripod is. There are no moving parts that I can figure. What is this thing? What do I need to do

You're missing the top half of that mount. There will be a bolt/wingnut that screws into the base of your camera, and the other side slides into that piece. It'd look something like this:

I figured that's what I was missing, but looking at those pieces, it doesn't look like it would fit in the top of the tripod pictured?

Looks like I'm missing a piece that goes on there to connect the additional piece.
