Yeah, that's a little odd to me, as well. This is the first year in as long as I can remember that I'm not coming home for Thanksgiving, so I'll be over my parents house with my immediate family (which is probably just as weird).

This is apparently the hottest toy for the holidays this year. I will not be jumping on to this awful trend.

My new downstairs neighbors are toking up early today. I guess they don't realize how the smell flows upstairs.

They probably don't realize a whole lot.

Tell them you're Sticks Downey and see if you can get a hit.

TIL last night: Rob McElhenney's mother was a lesbian that separated from his Dad when he was young. He was raised primarily by the father.

I hit my first deer in a vehicle the other day. Family was driving up to camp and a big doe came running across the road 15 yards in front of us and got hit dead center by a SUV coming the other way. So all of a sudden the deer is coming at us now and I swerved and ran over his neck and then the head exploded and sprayed blood and guts all over the side of the van. Wife and kids were screaming. It was gnarly and terrifying.

Ugh, that sucks. We drive a lot of backroads and it's rare to not see deer at the side of the road this time of year. It's only a matter of time before I hit one.

Shortly after getting my license, I hit the rear half of a large rabbit, and it blew **** and guts (mostly ****) all over the side of my car. 27 years later, I can still hear the "pop" noise the rabbit made. :?

Please tell me that you yelled "HEADSHOT!" in a video game narrator's voice when it happened...

My thanksgiving travels will all be back roads. This is a good reminder to be on the watch for deer.

This sounds worse than what happened to me, and I did it on a motorcycle at 1am on Rt. 30 near Bedford.

I'll never forget that sound though.

Oh man, that is gnarly. Blood splatter on the windows to boot. I can see why the wife and kids were screaming.

He was also an extra in Wonderboys (his speaking role was cut). I knew this years ago but there was no way to prove it until he talked about it on WTF. I high fived myself accordingly.

I'm coming from churchhill/monroeville area. I thought about just parking near the Pens arena and taking the T over to Gateway.
