she's still trying to understand what numbers the TV volume is allowed to be on haha
You mean like it has to be a multiple of 10 or 5?

When the 2005 Formula 1 season started, we had been dating about 5 months. At that point I hadn't moved in with her yet, but I was spending every weekend with her at her place in Redondo. We sat down to watch a Friday practice session, and a few minutes in they played in-car radio from David Coulthard, who was saying the car's handling was a bit loose. She was like "It sounds like he's blaming his car for not being faster. Do they all do that?"

I swear hearts shot out of my eyes like in a cartoon.

My TV maxes out at like 22 so I don't have a lot of choices. I can Brière it but...ehhhh.

I think the scale is non-linear. 0-10 are inaudible, then you get to 20 and it's as loud as you'd ever need it. No idea what's beyond 25.

I used to have a TV that was 0-4 volume was nothing. And 5 was above like a "calm" listening level...it was very dumb and stupid...

I have been living here since last summer and the home theater is still sitting in a carboard box next to the TV. I really don't give any **** about anything technology related anymore.

Switching from TV speakers to my surround system for everyday viewing was arguably the best decision I've ever made for my home theater.

Speaking of arguments, I was told the outside Christmas lights have to come down today. It's not even march?

Just turned mine off Sunday. They looked good with the snow.

But I’m done with snow now.

First date humble brags are moot unless you sunk the pink.
And if we did, are we allowed to humble brag? Asking for a friend....
Yeah, I'm a nut during playoff games...I've been trying to lay down the foundation for that, but I don't think she quite understands...she's still trying to understand what numbers the TV volume is allowed to be on haha
My gf hasn't seen me in a 'hostile' sports situation. I'm a little nervous about what she might think...or if she just laughs at my childishness.

We're at about six months...and I hear what you're saying, it's just that we haven't had anything to disagree about...we have amazing chemistry...
Good on ya, mate. Mrs Tif and I went went a good 8 or 9 years before we had a proper raised voice disagreement. There was one exchange a few years prior that was (deservedly) a one-way thing that I can't rightly call an argument. But honestly, we've had a pretty smooth ride and we're 16 years in now.
Same with my wife and I. Married 11+ years, together 13. Our first date was 9 hours long, so it was pretty obvious we would get along pretty well.
Tritto? Our first date was 6+ hours, and during game 7 of the Pens/Flyers series in April of 2009. What a **** day that was.
Tangentially related, but the 2006 Steelers SB win was about three weeks before my wife and I started dating. I was watching the game at a corner bar with a bunch of friends (one whose parents owned it). I called her after the Steelers won and at one point said "I love you" (I was beyond sauced, mind you). She told me that gave her a little pause when I asked her out later

It took me a second watch to realize what happened. The way his hat flew out the window... My sides.

Same. I was utterly confused until I gave it a second watch. Then it was just a constant 10 second loop of enjoyment.

It's funny when you see shafnutz05 as the top 5-6 last responses for the most recent topics. You know he's on lunch break or something

I am very predictable. First thing in the morning (6-7 AM), 1130-1230ish, and sometimes in the early evening.
