Welcome to 5AF MarkMadden

I'll believe that's him when I see some posts. It could be another dirt eater account.

Our garbage truck caught fire this morning. I missed it by about half an hour. Saw it pick up our trash right before I left today, and caught fire about 5 houses up the street. Wife says the firemen told her it runs on natural gas and the neighbors heard explosions.

Never a dull day at the toupe household.

That's wild...I've seen a video of a garbage truck quickly going up in flames, I believe it was a hydraulic fluid leak. Yeah...this:

I guess it's possible that's what happened to our truck, but my guess would be a lit cigarette. Wonder if they'll investigate

Like an amateur I left my credit card at the bar last night after opening a tab. I just canceled the card. (it's a chase visa). There's really no need to go get it is there?

'Tornado' swarm of midges caught on camera in Kinros

Please tell me I'm not the only one who misread that at first blush.

That’s a great idea. Please report back if you do end up doing it. I want to look as thoughtful in 8 years.
Just wanted to report back that we went to "Uncle Dave's Art Studio" in the New Kensington area last night and both did some pottery classes. He was by far the cheapest ($95 for a 1 hour session for 2) and it was pretty fun. He obviously doesn't have a huge setup and it was kind of cluttered but whatever, we were there for pottery and that's what we did. I would suggest it for a date night activity and something different.

Random geography trivia. Where is the longest state highway in the United States?

Can you clarify your question?

Like I-80 runs across the country. But are you just taking about how long I-80 is in just one state? Or are you talking about I-80 compared to I-90?

I-80 isn't a state highway

I thought I had it narrowed down to one of three. Yeah, they ranked 2, 4 and 5.

Also interesting re: longest state highway in PA. I had no idea.

I don't know enough state highways but I'd have to guess it's in TX or CA

And I'd be wrong.

18 comes right into the heart of Hermicash, didn't know it was the longest in the state though

I don't know them either, I was just guessing states.
