That's good...I'll assume n! is just taking the summer off from hockey stuff and will re-appear when games start...

A friend of mine was talking about her 8 year old son having an "active shooter" drill in school today. This wasn't the first, but she says every time they do a drill he gets anxious and starts asking her questions about whether he's going to die in school, etc. She said he even wakes up during the night and comes to her, worried and wanting to pray.

I understand why they have such drills (better safe than sorry, yada yada yada) but if it's traumatizing kids like this, is it really for the best? The odds of being involved in a school shooting are still ridiculously small, and I guess I just struggle to see how the positives outweigh the negatives.
It sounds like your friend has a hard time articulating potentially difficult/uncomfortable conversations to her son. I am in favor of doing drills like this because this is the world we live.

His dad died 2 or 3 years ago so he's a little more "death" conscious than most kids his age.

Nothing like a huge steaming hot bowl of soup after a three mile run. Makes you feel full af if nothing else.

Also, sleepy.

"The buying power of the LGBTQ community."

That's like 5% of the population, and it's a group of people who historically have a wage gap to breeders.

This is new to me. Is this some social media rivalry that Popeyes is trying to kick up? Woof.

I don't know how people can't see it. They paid for ads on popular sites for their reviews, and have influencers talking about it non-stop. It's pretty clearly driven.
