I get 3 weeks + 3 days vacation(extra 3 days after 5 years not a full week wtf!)
4 floaters
the normal holidays(8 or so I think)
5 sicks days

IQ scores are falling and have been for decades, new study finds
IQ scores have been steadily falling for the past few decades, and environmental factors are to blame, a new study says.

The research suggests that genes aren't what's driving the decline in IQ scores, according to the study, published Monday.
Norwegian researchers analyzed the IQ scores of Norwegian men born between 1962 and 1991 and found that scores increased by almost 3 percentage points each decade for those born between 1962 to 1975 -- but then saw a steady decline among those born after 1975.

Similar studies in Denmark, Britain, France, the Netherlands, Finland and Estonia have demonstrated a similar downward trend in IQ scores

I really, truly do believe that smartphones, devices, etc make people dumber. Not saying that's necessarily the cause for this result, but it wouldn't surprise me if it had a definite effect.

Have I mentioned how much I love Zenni Optical? Just ordered 4 pair (two are polarized sunglasses with a mirror finish) for $150. Buying them at the optometrist would have been more than that for just one pair.

I feel that way about Warby Parker. I need to go to their brick and mortar store in East Liberty.

I use Zenni and EyeBuyDirect.

I've bought 4-pairs of glasses too over the past few weeks.

I have one pair of Warbys and three pair from Zenni. I feel like Zenni is on par in terms of quality, but their styles are more in line with what I like and are roughly half as expensive. Both are really good tho, imo.

I have a friend who's sister is all in on these oils and stuff. She routinely tries to get people to by the products and refuses to even consider it's a scam.

She just paid a bunch of money to go celebrate at some arena with her other cohorts and praise in the glory of essential oils.

My cousins who were hocking those wrap thingees gave up on them years ago.
Have you seen the pearl parties where they open the mollusks live on Facebook? That seems like the latest scam.

I am a big Stroke 9 fan...I know their song Little Black Backpack.
Curating some playlists for the road this weekend. Came across this song and hit Play, transported instantly back to being 15 years old. So much angst! Song came out in 1995...

What's the skin care one that's big at the moment? I have a friend who shills for that. Honestly, if I knew my Facebook feed was going to become a skin cream advert, I'd have unfollowed her. But the first couple times she posted a video or whatever, I'd click the link (thinking it was about her newborn or something) and then like five seconds in you get hit with the, "Today's new product: Face cream made from cultured yak milk!" (Or whatever) And since it's ad, now Facebook thinks I like cultured yak milk face cream.
