Put two in my cart thinking they were $150 each. Subtotal was almost $1100. Deleted my cart.

$150 each minimum? I'll wait until it comes out on Netflix

The interface is very shitty. The 150 ones are in the upper deck

If you are a gambling type of person, you can download the Hamilton app. 2 days before each performance, you go to the app and enter the "Hamilton Lottery". If you win, you can buy Orchestra seats for $10 each. Limit is 2 per winner.

I don't question the ability of the build. I think that is 100% legit and the logic and thought process that went into it was impressive.Actually the more I read about this, I think it is legit. The guy is an ex-NASA engineer that worked on Curiosity.
I'm kinda questioning how legit the theft was and that he was able to retrieve his homepod without any damage and without incident. Maybe it's possible that people were more than content to just dump it than destroy it, but the garbage can scenario kinda has me raising a few questions.

Hmm, sounds interesting. Is this like student rush where they will try to sell every ticket? If you are a gambling type of person, you can download the Hamilton app. 2 days before each performance, you go to the app and enter the "Hamilton Lottery". It's a way for Hamilton to say they are being accessible to the common person while selling the bulk of the tickets for $500+. They do it in each city.

I watched a thing with LMM saying about a week before the original Hamilton cast began leaving for other gigs, they had a crew and director come in and capture a performance with a multi-camera setup. The masters are currently sitting in a vault in someone's basement, and the plan is to release it once the touring company slows down.

What is the appeal of Hamilton? It is just catchy tunes? Because as someone who loathes Alexander Hamilton, to me the notion of a musical about Hamilton could only be topped in terms of badness by an an actual non-joking "Springtime for Hitler" musical.

Because its catchy, well written, includes a flawed hero's rise, fall, and premature death...What is the appeal of Hamilton? It is just catchy tunes? And he won, so suck it

The thing I find amusing is that I bet a lot of the people who love the Hamilton musical lean left (I certainly bet the people who act in the musical lean left), and those are the sort of folks who would despise the things that Hamilton championed, such as crony capitalism and an incestuous relationship between banking and government. It would be akin to Occupy Wall Street types loving and raving about a musical about the lives of Marcus Goldman and Samuel Sachs.

Or maybe, just maybe, people can separate politics from entertainment?

Shyster, you are right. I, for one, must say that I never really liked Breaking Bad until I started cooking meth.

I have absolutely no interest in anything related to it.

Don't care much for the man myself...but listened to it once and was pretty well floored by it...very well written, great detail, great rhythm and pace...it's a terrific performance to see...What is the appeal of Hamilton? I listen to the entire two and a half hour soundtrack at least twice a month probably...

Wrapping presents, and Mrs. NTP wanted me to leave the nicest gift we got our daughter from Santa.
On a related note, she doesn’t want to wrap gifts from Santa this year, just leaving them under the tree. First I’ve ever heard of doing this, personally. Is this common?

Santa stuff should not only be unwrapped, they should also be out of the packaging and assembled - ready to play with. IMO.On a related note, she doesn’t want to wrap gifts from Santa this year, just leaving them under the tree. First I’ve ever heard of doing this, personally. Is this common?
