I generally don't care for the pumpkin spice cereals, but pumpkin spice mini wheats are actually pretty good.

I have a blue polo, jeans, and my regular work shoes on today... so, no?
Don’t lie to me. You have Uggs, black yoga pants and a North Face vest on.

Can i stop the emails?
You will have to unsubscribe from them individually I believe...I'm not aware of another easier solution. Perhaps you can export the e-mail addresses and create a blocked sender list...but I'm not sure if that's a) possible and b) more work...

Pumpkin pie, for instance, is good for pumpin' - if you know what I mean...wink. And no, I don't mean to f*** a pie like that Jason Biggs (?) movie...I mean for blood flow to the ol' pumpkin patch...

(this is the one time I'm disappointed that no one posted in between my posts...tough to figure how any sane person could make those posts back to back)

i havent found much on the internets about this but this seems like the exact opposite of the right thing to do because then they will know they got a live email address

Blacklist the domains (actually might want to double check that the domains actually match up to the name of the company). Just don't click any of the links in the emails.

USAA members, what say you about their insurance, credit cards, credit union, any other service? I just recently found out that I'm eligible through my grandfather.

Yeah, highly recommend.

Auto Insurance
-Fantastic. I once knocked down a gas pump with a rental box truck and they took care of it with one phone call; no deductible and my rate didn't go up. Their handling of conventional claims is really well done as well; my wife was t-boned a few years ago and they were on top of it from the get go.
Homeowners Insurance
-Just dropped them today, unfortunately. Too pricey relative to a local companies policy. But the service is good and if my situation were different I'd still be a policyholder.
Credit Cards
-They have a bunch of rewards cards. All of mine have shitty interest rates. My utilization is high right now and that's a big factor for them. The rewards are nice, though. They are happy to increase credit lines over time, usually automatically.
Banking
-Good. Pretty straightforward, interest rates are trash but that's the industry. Their website and mobile apps are top notch so the user experience is good, mobile deposit is good, etc. If you have online logins for other banks and cards you can monitor all of the balances from USAA, kind of like Mint. Wiring funds is easy. Lack of local branches is an issue but I'm sure you know that if you're looking at USAA.
Investments
-We have some mutual fund and Roth accounts; customer service is fantastic and free. Can't speak about the competitiveness of the various funds or whatever. I'm not a day trader so I couldn't tell you if the commission schedule is any good.
Mortgage
-Very good at intitiating loans and collecting documents through closing. Once the loan is closed they'll sell it to someone else.
Auto Loans
-Awesome. A++, very flexible in terms of the cars they'll allow you to buy (Delorean is financed) and how you repay. I like to repay every two weeks instead of monthly. They have loans out to 84 months if you're stupid enough.
Car Buying Service
-Also good. It's TrueCar skinned with their logos and some special offers. We've bought a couple of vehicles through it. Very nice.

Here is the rub; USAA doesn't come right out and say it but they have a couple of classes of member. Higher class members get better treatment like fewer hoops to jump through to secure a loan and better interest rates and access to some programs. They go something like this: Military officer, military enlisted, family of military, other qualifying member. It might imperceptible to you but if you're in the lower tiers you might hear about offers or incentives that are not available to you.

All that said, if you can get in just do it. Once the eligibility barrier is out of the way the cost to setup and maintain an account is low. You can always close it later if you want but the sooner you get in and start utilizing lines of business with them the better off you'll be if you want a house or car or credit card with them someday.

No problem. USAA has been very good to us so I'm happy to pump them up a little. Had you said NavyFed I would've lit your hair on fire.

NFCU are the people that took our mortgage payment, at Christmas, applied it to someone else's account and then treated us as if we were the scum of the earth for asking them to sort it out. Awful organization for a lot of reason's but that's my elevator pitch for **** NFCU.
