LGP was a PITA about what email I could use. I think I had to use my work email to sign up over there, and we have ridiculous firewall/filters on our email on top of the Gmail filters...so it probably got nuked before I could see it.

After going into their hiring pipeline, I set up an alert for SpaceX on LinkedIn. No joke, there have been days when I get a message that reads "SpaceX has posted 31 new jobs today". A normal day they post like 7 or 8 jobs, usually for STEM type positions, and they post new jobs almost every single day.

They just posted a contracts director gig yesterday, but alas they're requiring a JD or MBA.

I don’t know about where you guys are, but I just filled my propane tanks for $12/each. I have never paid this little in the past.

Anyone know anything about pool heaters? We need one and I don’t want to add to our outrageous propane usage. Do they make like a tankless water heater version?

Blockage. Trees, house, no bueno. We moved in a few months ago. The pool is legendary in the neighborhood for being unswimmable. The old people we bought it from never even went in it. Just neighbor kids.

Today will be littered with awful April Fools jokes and pranks.
We pranked our kids this morning. They are not allowed to eat sugary cereal, but we had a box of Lucky Charms left over from a project my 7 year old did for school. So we made bowls last night with the Charms and milk, stuck a spoon in it, and let them sit in the freezer overnight.

To top it off, we switched the bag of Lucky Charms with the bag of regular Cheerios so the Cheerios were in the Lucky Charms box.

Once they were fooled with the frozen cereal, they were told they could have the Lucky Charms. I poured the cereal from the LC box only to have the Cheerios pour out. Said it must have been some kind of bad luck that the charms were Cheerios.

The 5 year old thought it was funny, the 7 year old was nearly in tears.

I considered unbanning everyone for the day to see how it goes, and then just reban them at the end of the day.
