I have a very odd sixth sense about watermelon quality. I have zero way to describe how I get a good one every time, but I do.

Also, watermelon is FANTASTIC when you're trying to lose weight. I dare you to eat your fill with watermelon and somehow gain weight. It's not possible.

I've been eating more fruit recently. In terms of melons, my rankings are thus:

1. Watermelon
2. Honeydew
.
.
.
.
.
400. Cantaloupe

I've tried and I've tried. I just can't get into like watermelon and honeydew.

Put honeydew down near cantaloupe and that's where I am. I'm purely a watermelon person. Fruit salads are always ruined by cantaloupe and honeydew

shouldn't even say "ruined". If your alleged fruit salad is mainly composed of honeydew and cantaloupe, you shouldn't legally be allowed to call it a fruit salad

Usually there's a token grape or even a rogue strawberry, but usually just boring, flavorless melons.

If you could take the smell of garbage and combine it with sugar then put it in a fruit... that's cantaloupe.

If you get a really sweet cantaloupe it is outstanding. Unfortunately its hard to avoid the really mealy ones that lack sweetness, and cantaloupe flavor itself isn't that great to not be sweet.

My wife went back to our old town for a doctor's appointment and picked up some locally grown strawberries. For 15 years, we would eat a gallon of those strawberries from March through May. Completely different flavor and taste from grocery store berries.

No good peaches or cantaloupes there yet. Those are excellent as well.

Not that anyone needs more proof of Roblox being dumb, but I wanted to share what happened tonight. Somebody was harassing one of my daughter's friends, and used a racist term. So my daughter reported it to Roblox, and what did they do? Banned her for a day for reporting what the other person said (basically saying she used a racist term). Amazing.

I remember going to Trax Farms with my grandpa when I was a kid and picking strawberries. So much better when eaten right from the vine.

I like all fruit, but I mostly stick to buying apples, oranges, and bananas because they are all quick to eat and basically come pre-portioned.

AuthorTony: So, this is going to be quite the adjustment:

I plan on taking some random photos this weekend with both cameras to compare them and see if this switch is going to work out. Probably could have just rented one locally for this, but I imagine that I'll be pleased with the results. I honestly may look for a case that adds a grip on the right because it just feels... weird... holding this one. This has a shutter count of under 3k, and is in mint condition.
So yeah, I think I need to spend more time with the camera, perhaps even taking it on vacation this summer, before deciding what to do with the D750. I took a few random shots around the house and in the backyard, and the Sony is clearly a little behind, and darker - which I was actually surprised by, given that it's a mirrorless. I guess that speaks more to the D750, though.

Sorry to hear that. When you say darker, do you mean the lcd screen? Or are the images it produces darker? I don't know how much you can tweak the settings on Sony's. Hopefully it'll be things you can work around. There's always an adjustment period, even from model to model let alone switching brands.

I had to photograph a dance studio this week and the LCD touch screen on my z6 would randomly not work. No idea why as the camera's barely used. It seemed to mostly straighten out as the days went on though. Hopefully it doesn't croak on me. If it would, I'd probably pick up a used D800 or D810. They're relatively cheap.

I'm not a big fan of watermelon. If it is fresh and sweet, I enjoy it, but often it is not sweet enough. I absolutely don't like anything that is watermelon flavored.

I prefer honeydew and cantaloupe over watermelon, but again it's hard to find that happy medium of being just ripe and sweet enough or else it tastes bad.
