When I was a little kid I was over a relatives house and he put on a clinic with how much he smoked. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. Over a couple of hours he smoked practically every kind of tabbaco product: big cigars, little cigars, pipes, cigarettes with the mouthpiece at the end, etc...
Needless to say he passed away a long time ago. He wasn’t that old either.

Plus side:
Rylan knows the game really well, nice human.
His new job will allow him to post more if he can get his login to work on his work computer
Minus side:
The person behind me had the world's worst voice and was commenting stupidly on the entire (entire) game. Except for one question he had: "how does overtime work in the playoffs?" He had an answer for everything else. Including how well Sprong played late in the 3rd - twice bringing up his need to get to more loose pucks. Rylan and I killed him.
It costs 3 to 4x as much to uber to/from the airport here as it does in Philly despite it feeling like it's a similar distance from the city center. Though, I was able to successfully bribe someone to sit and wait for me to check in, get changed and grab a quick drink for less cost than the first trip...but still...woof...
Not knowing what's around the arena really, I watched the Preds game at Souper Bowl. $5 tequila falls under "plus side" and I got a free drink (two?) for calling that the Bonino goal would be overturned - I was the lone dissenting opinion. Then uber'd back to my hotel with some ultra soff pinko who didn't hate people even a little bit, so all of my jokes fell flat...
"Uhhm, ackhutually, Detroit's middle class is making a strong recovery on the heels of the death of the UAW thanks to a paradigm shift towards community efforts surrounding urban farming in a post-capaalistic..."
Hey, pusscake, one more word out of you and I will beat you to death with your rescue dog...I don't care if he doesn't have a tail...you are gonna get f***** up...
Like I even tried to make a low-level, easy Pittsburgh joke about traffic and people inexplicably stopping before going into a tunnel...and even that was meant with nothing but a flat:
"People don't stop, they just slow down a little because the lanes narrow bah bu-bah bah bah..."
Buddy, if you want to make a difference, just donate your organs right now and stop amplifying your carbon footprint by sitting there correcting me in front of the Squirrel Hill Tunnel in a car that would order a Shirley Temple if it could...****** Christ...

This post is so heavily tinged with Philly attitude, it might as well have a cheesesteak plopped on top of it.Plus side:

Well, it's not "home" for you, if that makes sense. What don't you like about it? Not metropolitan enough?

Yeah, not enough piss...that's strike one...
The one road in and out feeling is troubling to me...it's difficult to navigate, there isn't an obvious grid system...and yeah, there isn't as much "stuff" here...
Ubers are a lot more expensive here, but drinking at bars is cheaper...tough trade off to reconcile...
The weather also...it's overcast 400 days a year...

Also, did you just stay by the arena? Cause there is a crap ton to do in Pittsburgh.
