Our payroll people close timekeeping all the **** time and it drives me insane. Holiday coming? Better close payroll. End of month coming? Better close it 3-5 days before that. Pay period ending? Quick, close it three days out. Someone inevitably deviated from their timecard? Fill out this correction form, get it signed by two different people, and wait two pay periods for it to reflect.

I really can't stand process mistakes. We do this every month and we have been operational for 217 years, get it figured out.

This has been an expensive month for me, so cashing out those 40 hours of PPL time was great for the 30 seconds that it lasted in my bank account.

For Father's Day, my wife found a case of six packages of the Game of Thrones Oreos and got them for me as a gift. There's something about those GoT ones that makes them taste even better than the originals.

I hope not, but it's possible. I'm pretty sure I've always liked the gold oreos.

I never cared for Oreos all that much. Too sweet, IMO.

Thin Oreo's aren't even Oreo's. They are a weak imposter that shouldn't even be called a cookie.

I get paid once a month, and I hate it. I don't have budget issues, but it sucks. The five Friday months (we get paid on the last Friday of the month) means that we submit timesheets up to twelve days before the end of the month. As a supervisor, someone always gets sick or takes an unannounced day off, meaning I have to track that into the next month.

All to save in payroll processing costs, which they then subcontracted out to ADP. Sweet.
im on monthly now too. also dont have budget issues but its just a pain

To the person who I upset greatly zipper merging on to 376 from 79 this morning. You need to learn what zipper merging is, get your brake lights fixed, and drive your SUV off a cliff.

I got stuck behind a vehicle stopped as they were trying to get an older lady into the van. No big deal, I'll wait a few minutes as traffic backs up behind me to the next block. They get her in and start to pull out as some maniac pulls around everyone backed up behind me in the wrong lane. So they pass everyone behind me, but the van ahead is moving so it's me and this maniac now side by side, she's in the wrong lane yelling at me to let her in. I kept going and laid on the horn not letting her in for the duration of the street and she guns it and darts in up over the sidewalk around the stop sign and is gone. Good job lady, you just saved maybe 3 seconds getting to work.
