That wasn't the question, though.

I'm leaning towards Burgers King. In the name "King" is an adjective describing the particular type of burger. When making a plural, you don't add an "s" to the adjective; the "s" is added to the noun. So it would be Burgers King, the same way as the plural of Attorney General is Attorneys General and the plural of Taco Supreme would be Tacos Supreme.

I think a way to look at the question is to place the adjective before the noun and see how a plural would be made. The plural of "King Burger" would clearly be "King Burgers." The fact that the adjective is being placed after the noun doesn't change the plural, so Burgers King.

I always thought it's supposed to mean King of the Burger.

What type of King? The Burger King. King is a noun, not an adjective.

And Taco Supreme is a proper name. So Taco Supremes would be correct.

The item in question was specifically defined as a sandwich. The noun is Burger, not King.

Fake sandwiches:
If Burger King served an eponymous sandwich called "The Burger King", and you were headed over to your good buddy c2I's place with a few of these sandwiches to play Xbox with him, Jooce, and Kicksave, would you say that you were bringing over "Burgers King" or "Burger Kings"

More authoritative guidance from from Garner's Dictionary of Legal Usage, p. 685 (3d ed. 2009):
Plurals of compound nouns made up of a noun and a postpositive adjective* are formed by adding -s to the noun: courts martial, heirs presumptive.

*An adjective that follows the noun.

This isn't about correct grammar, it's about how a normal human speaks. A couple of Burger Kings is the answer
