I'm just glad my mom "hid" the Sega controllers when I did something and not burn them.

I was trying on my Halloween costume, turned around and our kitten was on the bed staring at me. His tail immediately went crazy poofy and he ran downstairs and hid under the couch.

Ha!

I once put on a werewolf mask and scared my cat so bad he ran back into my bedroom and peed all over my bed. Last time I did that.

 Oh man, that is so much worse. My dad bought a werewolf mask when we were kids that’s one of the scariest masks I’ve ever seen. He **** tortured my sisters every year. He tried to do it to my niece once and she refused to go near him for like a solid month or two, so he hasn’t done it since.

What a psycho… burning your kid’s stuff to get them to do things. I’m guessing there’s more bad parenting she’s doing that she’s not self reporting on Twitter. Feel bad for the kid.

Our friend at church showed us the save the date for her granddaughter's wedding to Steve Mears next summer. TIL "Mears" is not his full last name.

Low rise pants mounting a comeback:
THE LOW-RISE PANT, one of the most divisive trends of the early 2000s, is back. The low rise strutted into this past month’s spring fashion shows with the same delusional confidence that Paris Hilton displayed back in 2003 when ringing up customers at Sonic Burger on her reality show “The Simple Life.” Like Paris herself, the low-rise cut is arguably sexy, occasionally risqué, usually playful and often reviled. Also known as “low-waisted,” the style is now appearing as belly-baring chinos, jeans, slacks and skirts on influencers such as Bella Hadid as well as on runways for Miu Miu and Rokh. Christina Aguilera, now 40, reprised her infamous low-waisted-miniskirt-and-exposed-thong look at a Brooklyn concert last month.

So....... we saw Hamilton yesterday. It somehow was better than expected. First show I've ever seen live for the first time that I already knew backwards and forwards, and still...... Amazing.

First time seeing it live, yes. I've watched the Hamilfilm....... let's just call it 'a lot'. That's what I'm saying; I knew the music of every show I've seen before seeing it, but I had already 'seen' the full Hamilton show, with its sets and choreo and what not. So that it was still able to positively make my soul vibrate was really something to experience.

The only downer was they had a shipping delay and so they were out of all the XL sized wearable merch. I'm gonna go back into Hollywood in a week or so to get some shirts and such.

Ours kicked on Saturday afternoon. Windows were open and the breeze was a bit too cool.

We have a heat pump so this is the one time of year I get relatively cheap heat. When it drops below freezing I get destroyed by the electric supplemental heat system.

I have one of those too. I just set it to never turn on the emergency heat.

I moved my washer to get to the dryer and ended up breaking the connectors on the washing machine for cold water. It was 7 years old and less than $500 when bought it so no great loss. Until I can get a new one I want to switch the cold and hot lines so only cold water is available instead of only hot water. I know I need to turn off the water at the wall first (I've seen ones online that have levers that you need to turn) but don't see anyway to do it on this:

Do I need a special tool? Or do I need to unscrew these to get to the lever?

The shut off should be right in the middle of that valve, which appears to be missing. Unless I'm not understanding...

You have to dismantle the latch hasp from the auxiliary drainage line.
