Just gonna end up in some consultant getting $2 mil from the State.

Also, imagine the rise in population here when people in Philly realize they can get here in a half hour

Yeah, put me on the list of people that is anti-hyperloop technology. We are all too closely connected as it is, I like the fact that Pittsburgh is a solid 4+ hours away from Philly. The time and distance is a blessing.

That said, if they want to do it along the I-95 corridor, go for it. Washington to Boston are already interconnected enough as it is, and the cities are very similar. I don't get connecting Pgh and Philly.

Dafuq? This take is almost as bad as NP’s take from yesterday. I’d kill for a 30 minute connection back to Pittsburgh.

I guess my irrational fear is that it would transform Pittsburgh into something different. I live in the I-95 corridor, I don't want Pittsburgh to be an extension of it.

I don’t foresee hyperloop working for distances more than a few miles.

No idea where to post this... Pittsburgh Culutral Arts just announced the 2019-2020 broadway season and it’s insane. Classics like Miss Saigon, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Les Mis. Plus “newer” shows like Lion King, Mean Girls, and A Bronx Tale.

Definitely going to Les Mis and Superstar.

Is the idea that this would run over, under, and along the current turnpike?

Les Mis and Lion King are spectacular. Les Mis stands as one of the single greatest pieces of entertainment in human history, of course, but if you don't get goose bumps from the opening Circle of Life number and the way they handle Cloud Mufasa, then you are a soulless dullard. (Royal 'you', I'm sure you'll get it)

Also, I am allergic to Andrew Lloyd Webber music. I break out in hate. True story.

I get goosebumps from the opening of the Lion King film. What an epic opening song/sequence.

I called my state rep and spoke with somebody there. They said they'd do some digging and will see what they can to do help out, so we'll see where it goes.
The person at my state rep's office called me that afternoon confirming that the entire length of the road is scheduled to be resurfaced this year.

Never change. It was also a slight change to a parks and rec quote.
