So if i'm reading this correctly, there are a couple JC pennyeys in western pa closing but the one in Century III is going to be operating even though the company is bankrupt and CIII is closed other than the Penneys
If I remember correctly from readings during the CIII shenanigans, JCP owns the building and has a low cost long term lease for the land the building sits on. The building is a dilapidating piece of ****, but part of JCP’s future plans are to own their real estate so the CIII location has a head start. They’d also get little in return for selling a building connected to a shuttered mall and that JCP location actually makes money.

I drove through that C3 area a few years ago for the first time is 20 years and couldn't believe how run down that 51 business corridor is. Ratty looking.

While i respect the hell out of all of dunn's opinions (except for the pro DH opinion) I think you might be getting Sears and JCP mixed up. I did a quick investigation on the county's website and i think the mall is one big parcel with the exception of the old sears location. Sears estate or Lampert or some other group of clownshoes related to the sears debacle got into a pissing match with the jabronis that owned CIII when CIII went up for Sherrif's sale a couple years ago regarding a land lease and some sort of outrageous buyout for several million dollars.

My information is based solely on the detailed information provided by Mon Valley area Facebook Karen’s. The chances of it being wrong are like 99%.

My cousin's daughter who recently graduated H.S. came out as gender fluid last year. Long story short, she is now referred to as "they". It is tortuous trying to ask/talk about her with my cousin (her dad), or worse be in a family video chat as I fixate on trying not to mess up the pronoun  . I have an understandable mental block referring to an individual as "they". Thankfully they is (are?) very understanding about it.

Saw that in one of the top comments. Also came across a recent post in which somebody rickrolled Astley himself, and the guy now has enough coins on Reddit for Premium for over 12 years.

That's approximately 50 billion times better than I expected it to be.

Guy can play the hell out of that guitar, too.

a previously male identified friend of mine, well really husband of a friend of mine has come out as gender fluid. he too wants to be referred to as "they". I'm having a hard time with it because they is plural. something like shim would be easier.

it's someone that doesn't want to be categorized as specifically male or female. I don't really get it but then, I have no issues being the gender that I am.

Thanks shoeshine. And by the way I might be one of the few people here that actually bought shoe polish and shined my shoes (penny loafers) when I was a youngin. Even spit shined my dress boots in the Army.

Unrelated but when you've gotten used to drinking the cherry Dr Pepper, regular just tastes like nothing and is a huge disappointment.
