We used to be members at Sam's Club, but for a small family it just wasn't worth it.

My 12yo twins got most of their school clothes at Costco. They are in 32x32 pants.

sam's clubs supplies us our paper plates, paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper. For that alone it's worth being a member. The gas is a nice bonus.

My dad likes to go on Sundays, I think, and pick up the rotisserie chicken packages that are 3ish pounds that are like $5. Solid deal.

The family size is why we never thought about a membership. I thought it was just for like Mormons or something. We used to be members at Sam's Club, but for a small family it just wasn't worth it.

does the meow have a second freezer and/or copious amount of freezer space? big family or not, the frozen stuff comes in handy. and the frozen salmon filets are actually pretty good.
if you are not a fan of frozen foods and whatnot, this isn't a useful question.

When I was in college we had a membership for the house...helpful. The amount of chicken patty you can buy...I am salivating already...ooh, actually, that's some hemorrhaging, excuse me...

We eat very little frozen food, but do have a second freezer for some reason.does the meow have a second freezer and/or copious amount of freezer space? big family or not, the frozen stuff comes in handy. and the frozen salmon filets are actually pretty good.

If you buy very little frozen stuff, then I'm curious about how much you'd really be saving. It might be worth going on a trial run to check prices and such, because I don't think the regular gas discount would be enough to push me over the edge. Now, if we're talking premium gas, that might sway things. For some reason, they're much cheaper for that than others, but their regular price is very close to most others.

Basement freezers are great for when they mark down frozen food at Costco.

Yeah, @Silentom, why don't you stick your head in a freezer and make us some uglysicles.

If you ever host a party/cookout type thing once or twice a year, the savings you get from buying bulk for that pretty much cover the cost of the membership at Costco/Sam's.

$25?! Why'd you even ask? You'll save that after ~15 gallons of gas...
