That's just how barn owls look before the get feathers. Helped operate a streaming camera on a barn owl nest for a few years.

On another really weird note...on one of the tabs in 5AF, I keep hearing sound effects/music from the old school Pokemon Red/Blue games. Specifically, the sound of catching a Pokemon and the song at the end of a battle. I heard it both last night while browsing 5AF and today as well. I cannot see any posts with a Pokemon video in it, so I am a little confused here.

It was a reddit post that auto plays. Someone added Pokemon music/sound to the video of the thieves trying to break in with a rock, and the one dude gets hit in the head with said rock.

I eat it one month a year until I puke and then don't eat it for 11 months. It's a good system. Though, this year, for the first time probably ever, I didn't eat a single piece...it wasn't my intent though, it just never came to fruition...

Yeah, it was this previous weekend. It was just about the best weekend of my life. Beautiful weather, great people, just great, juicy butts out and about as far as the eye could see...great shows...after parties that were scheduled until 7 am...pulled off a perfect game (drinking/partying all day without eating) then slept for an hour and then ran that into an all-nighter.

Went down with three friends that love maximizing fun, for the smokeshow girl I went with, it was her first festival and she absolutely crushed it. Made a bunch of new friends along the way...it's tough to go into great detail because of the nature of it...like you're just walled off from reality, it's so nice...

Also, I successfully pulled off this outfit...or close facsimile thereof...(my socks were green with a white stripe, and my shirt had no number, just the piping)




Here's a travel tip: If you go to the airport at 5:30 in the morning with tights, knee high socks and white sneakers...you get everything searched. Everything. You get your wallet and phone swabbed. You get your cologne...uhh...drank...? I don't know what they were doing with it. Everything. But...plant/grow, right?

But all in all, probably the best weekend of my life...wall to wall awesomeness...everyone was on the same page, same vibe...couldn't have asked for more...thanks for asking.
